PrivacyTerms

Agreement and service

These terms govern a Shopify merchant's use of EventTix, an event-ticketing app operated by midorry. By installing or using EventTix, you agree to these terms. EventTix helps merchants create event products, issue and email tickets, manage attendees, operate check-in, send reminders, and archive events.

Your responsibilities

You must be authorized to act for the Shopify store and provide accurate event, pricing, venue, capacity, contact, and policy information. You are responsible for your events, attendee communications, refunds, taxes, accessibility, safety, required permits, and compliance with consumer, privacy, and other applicable laws.

You must protect staff check-in links and account credentials, keep ticket inventories accurate, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access or service misuse.

Acceptable use

You may not use EventTix to:

  • violate law, third-party rights, Shopify requirements, or event venue rules;
  • sell fraudulent, misleading, prohibited, or unauthorized tickets;
  • send spam, harmful content, malware, or communications without a lawful basis;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security or usage limits of the service; or
  • use attendee or customer information for purposes inconsistent with your notices, permissions, or applicable law.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid EventTix plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API and appear on your Shopify invoice. Prices, trial periods, and plan limits shown in EventTix at the time you subscribe apply unless we notify you of a change. You can cancel by changing plans or uninstalling the app; Shopify's billing and refund rules apply. Event ticket sales and attendee refunds remain transactions between you and your customers.

Service changes and suspension

We may maintain, improve, or change EventTix and may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service integrity, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms. We aim to give reasonable notice when practical. You may stop using EventTix at any time by uninstalling it.

Ownership and feedback

You retain rights in content and data you provide. You grant midorry the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that material to operate EventTix. EventTix and its software, branding, and documentation remain the property of midorry and its licensors. We may use feedback without restriction or obligation.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

EventTix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery, error-free operation, event attendance, or the availability of Shopify, email, network, or hosting services outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, midorry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or business damages. Midorry's aggregate liability arising from EventTix will not exceed the amount you paid for EventTix during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

Contact and changes

Questions about these terms can be sent to info@midorry.com. We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. If a material update affects existing use, we will provide reasonable notice through an appropriate service channel. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.

EventTix is operated by midorry.
